Congo: Today's Vision, Tomorrow's Potential
About
Rodrigue Nguesso was born into a modest middle-class family in 1976. His parents supported his education and instilled in him the importance of discipline, respect for others, and hard work.
After studying in France and the United States, Rodrigue Nguesso, an African entrepreneur from Congo Brazzaville, took the helm of the construction company Bella Construction.
As a politician close to the younger generations, he is aware of the imminent energy transition, which will be all the more harsh if it is not anticipated.
Rodrigue Nguesso wants to participate in implementing solutions that will allow Congo, his homeland, not to suffer in the future.
As the son of Maurice Nguesso and the elder brother of President Denis Sassou Nguesso, Rodrigue Nguesso, 47, has become one of the main intermediaries between his uncle and Félix Tshisekedi. Working as a special advisor at Denis Sassou Nguesso's office, Rodrigue Nguesso married Soraya Pembe, originally from the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Rodrigue Nguesso fully supports the sustainable tourism vision of Congo Brazzaville. As a staunch advocate for environmental preservation and socio-economic development, he encourages initiatives that promote tourist attractions while protecting natural resources. His commitment strengthens the country's position as an environmentally friendly destination, open to visitors from around the world.
Rodrigue Nguesso is convinced that the marriage of tourism and sustainable development can have a significant impact on the local economy. By promoting job creation in various sectors such as tourism, hospitality, catering, transportation, and craftsmanship, he stimulates economic activities in regions where tourism is developed. These jobs are not limited solely to direct services to tourists but also extend to related industries such as agriculture, craftsmanship, and construction, thereby contributing to diversifying the local economy and reducing dependence on more volatile sectors.
Rodrigue Nguesso acknowledges that sustainable tourism is much more than just an economic revenue source. It's a development catalyst that can transform local communities, strengthen economic resilience, promote environmental conservation, and foster responsible and ethical tourism for future generations. By investing in sustainable tourism, Congo Brazzaville can not only boost its economic growth but also preserve its natural and cultural heritage for years to come.

The country will continue to grow. This is a point of crucial importance that will enable us to emerge stronger from this global crisis. The political class and the Congolese people are united and working hand in hand to prepare the Congo of tomorrow.
